Macramé workshop
Learn the ancient art of weaving with Macramé, a manual weaving technique that uses knots and whose origins date back to the 19th century. XIV.
This workshop is a unique opportunity to experience the art of weaving in such a special and emblematic place in Óbidos, Loja do Américo, the oldest grocery store and tavern in the town, which still retains much of its original 19th century appearance.
You will have the opportunity to produce by your own hands:
a) A bookmark for those special readings on the go, or
b) a wall tapestry inspired by Portuguese tile patterns to decorate your home.
